DINDIN @ Moxies!

Soooo since I haven't blogged in awhile, cause I have absolutely nothing to blog about (beauty wise) I decided to just blog about my life. LOL

Anyways, so I recently went to a birthday dinner at Moxies..

I ordered..... a philly cheese steak sandwich - it was delish! However the fries were quite salty.. everyone raped it and ate all of it anyways so didn't matter too much to me..

But outfit of the day? yeah let's do that! Unless you've already seen it on my facebook/twitter.. BUT WHO CARES! =)

and of course, my outfit! Went for a semi-formal type of thing.

I originally wore this short sleeve blazer type of jacket that you'll see in a picture below but I took it off.. obviously LOL. Anyways yeah just a simple striped long top from Forever 21, Cheap Mondays jeans and my belooooved (real) reptile skin heels <3

I know I kinda don't really match but I was on a time limit and I had to work super fast with deciding on an outfit! I usually plan beforehand.. but I wasn't able to find a simple pretty black or white top to wear.. OH WELL!

How cute is that?! hehe

And I know it may be strange that I paired it with this necklace BUT I didn't really care since I didn't have enough time to plan as I mentioned earlier! At least it's gold :P

Sad thing about this necklace (also from Forever 21) is that the body broke off.. YES IT HAD A BODY!! I can easily put it back together but I lost the metal ring to attach it to the loops so now I can't.. :(

So that's the blazer jacket thingy that I was talking about! :) OH yeah,

and I just brought my Coach clutch with me that the *boy* got me for xmas :)

I just had the essential stuff - keys, lipgloss/carmex, eyelash glue/tweezers, eyelash curler, eyeliner, mascara, blush/blush brush, and my Coach coin purse to keep my cards & money in!

I know that sounds a lot but it really isn't! If I'm wearing eyelashes, that's usually when I'll bring the extra eyelash glue/tweezer and the whole crew along.. Usually (make-up wise) I'll just bring my blush/blush brush and my lippies (obvs!!!) But that's only if I'm bringing a clutch. I don't know, I'm the type of gal that brings everything - "JUST IN CASE" :P

Not like you can see it haha but I applied this blush from an asian brand that I got a LOOOooNNNG time ago called "AS" (yeah I don't know) but anyways it was just a really bright pink blush :)

And I think I also applied RIMMEL's bronzer in Sun Queen (I LOVE THIS BRONZER!)

Although in these pictures it looks like I'm just wearing like chapstick or something, in the beginning of the night I was actually wearing..

E.L.F eyeshadows

So I got these shadows in this 'Dramatic Eyes' kit by E.L.F that I found at Winners!
It also came with mascara, eyeliner, a sharpener, and an eyeshadow brush - which I like!
It also came with false eyelashes and glue but I don't remember where I put it, but they were very nice lashes!

This is supposed to be like the highlight/brow bone color,
It's very matte and WHITE. It's bit chalky but it's alright on. Wouldn't be my ideal highlight color.


I like this color the most! It's a dark grey with colorful shimmers but mainly silver glitters.


This one is basically just black with the same kind of shimmers as the dark grey one above.

All of these shadows are pretty pigmented for such a cheap brand! Especially the dark grey and black shadows! They're pretty easy to blend out as well. They're also very soft and kinda silky actually lol.
I don't think they sell the shadows separately though.

Anyways, I started playing around with it and this is the look that I came up with... :)
(these lashes are from vietnam I think, my friend gave them to me)

*NO primer used! just vaseline!!!! THAT'S RIGHT! :)

heartbreak..

So as i went to grab my MAC - Idol Eyes eyeshadow, i opened it to look at it again. I haven't used it in awhile because i wasn't too fond of it. However, i decided i should give it another try and perhaps like it again - i mean i purchase it for a reason right? so i flipped it over, and then this is what happened.............................







..................

WAAAHHHH!!! it completely dropped out of the pan and it just flew everywhere, bits and pieces.. i have no clue how it happened because in the pan it was completely fine!!!!

anyways, so now i gotta mend it back together.. and by doing so, i have to get rubbing alcohol. goddaaaaamn :(

I am a blush whore.

I've been raping this particular blush like crrrazy..
I got it awhile ago but i never really used it up until now.

DUM DUM DUM..................... it's my NARS' blush!

(i know it's beat up.. it's been in my make up bag!)

1. i fricking love the name LOL
2. it's so pigmented
3. it gives the nicest pink glow with a subtle gold sheen
4. it has a mirror! lol always a plus..

it's gorgeous on. yup. that's all i gotta say about it. :)

Maybelline Stylish Smokes

So i had the chance to pick up the Maybelline Stylish Smokes quad in 'Natural Smokes' and i love it! It's been selling out like constantly and i picked up the very last one at Walmart!!

I love the lid color, it reminds me of MAC's 'Satin Taupe' which is one of my all time fave eyeshadow!

Lid - Crease - Brow - Outer Corner
(Pretty pigmented without a base!)

I can actually create a lot of different looks with this quad - love that!

Time to do a look!

Lid color all over the lid!

Applying the crease color in the crease (windshield wiper motions)

Taking the brow bone color and blending the harsh lines out

Deepen the "V" with the outer corner color

Tightlining - (waterline is optional)

Line your upper lashline
(MAC Fluidline - Blacktrack)

Taking the crease color and applying it on the lower lashline

Curl your lashes and apply mascara - top and bottom!

Lip Maximizer - Collagen Activ Lipgloss

Oh HOLD UP!!
A lip plumping gloss that is also a lip care product?!

Not only is it supposed to plump up your lips but it also acts as a lip care!
It rehydrates and reconstruct your lips and after 15 days, your lip contour is "redefined".

Color: It's a very sheer light pink with super tiny shimmers in it.. it pretty much goes on clear...
Scent: A subtle minty vanilla scent! I like it! Definitely not overpowering and the vanilla makes it smell so much nicer than just plain mint!

To Use:
Apply under regular lipstick or gloss for volume and shine, or morning and night as a 15-day intensive care

do you see a difference???

compared to other lip plumping glosses - this one definitely doesn't tingle your lips like crazy!
you can slightly feel the tingle-ness (lol) but not as extreme as other ones.
as for making your lips look more plump, i think it's okay.. i feel like i've used better ones despite how much more they tingle and sometimes even burn your lips.

another pro is that it also isn't a sticky gloss! thumbs up for that!

so let's do some pros and cons to quickly summarize?

PROS:
- doesn't tingle/burn your lips like other lip plumping glosses
- the scent is wonderful!
- not sticky at all!
- doesn't dry out your lips

CONS:
- it's $30 (however i got mine for free MUAHAHAHA)
- it doesn't do a very good job at plumping..
- not a super high pigmented color, unless you like that

As for the intensive care for your lips, so far i'm liking it.. it's not drying out my lips or anything..
i definitely have to keep trying it out for the rest of the 15 days.
