Revlon's Carbonite

Hai. Originally, I had went to the drugstore to pick up a Maybelline concealer but they didn't have it so I was looking around and then I saw Revlon's new collection. I'm not sure if it's limited edition but I completely fell in love!

I had tweeted this earlier and I was getting questions on what the color was so I decided to just film a short video showing you guys a live swatch of it :)

It also dried rather quickly so I was very pleased with that! It's the first nail polish that wasn't a pain to paint my nails with! I am not a fan of the brush, as it is very thin. So streaky formula + thin brush = hell to paint nails. Although this formula was absolutely amazing! I only applied one coat, didn't even need to dip my brush back in! *very impressed*

I also checked out Maybelline's Fall 2011 Collection as well and I was going to get one of the quads that are limited edition but I decided not to since I already have a tons of neutral shades in my collection already. Instead, I picked up a really pretty lavender pink lipstick. I'm not sure if it's limited edition as well. 

 

Must Have Mauve

It reminds me a lot of Lilac/Lavender version of Pink Please... which was my first and absolute fave from the line but sadly it's discontinued... I totally should've bought another back up when I gave the back up I had to a friend :(

I love Maybelline's Color Sensational lipsticks! Their formula is great, very smooth, pigmented and it lasts for a couple of hours which isn't TOO bad. I also like the scent of it... some don't and think it's plastic-y, but it smells like vanilla and kind of like play-doh but I personally really like it lol.

Happy Thanksgiving! (Round 1)

Hi, hope you guys had a satisfying Turkey Dinner! I had mine today instead on Sunday night... We don't actually celebrate the holiday in any religious way... I'm mainly just in it for the food. LOL. But I would like to participate in saying some Thanks. (Excluding the cliche stuff like having a roof over my head, and blahblahblah)

First off, I want to thank all of my followers. You guys are what makes blogging/vlogging more fun :) Afterall, I wouldnt continue this if I didn't have any followers! Sharing is Caring!

Secondly, I am thankful for planes. If we didn't have any, driving up to see my bf every couple of months, would've been a huge pain in the effing ass for us. I however am NOT thankful for international airline flights because it is friggen EXPENSIVE to fly out of Canada... -_____-

Thirdly, I am thankful for soil. Because of soil, corn wouldn't be able to grow. I friggen love corn, it's my favourite!

Foundation Routine!

Herrrroooo! Here it is! Many of you asked for it, and I am giving it to y'all! :D

I finally had some time to film this after going home from doing some errands and it was still bright out so I figured, why not take off my face makeup and just film since my routine is super quick anyways! 

I like to switch up my foundation a lot. I normally don't use the same foundation unless it's something I am really LOVING at the moment (which at the time, I was obsessed with Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse... best foundation ever for my skintype which is dry to normal!) I also like to switch up my concealers as well. I mean, I have so many, why stick to just one product until it's finished? That's boring! :)

My routine is pretty quick, I don't like to spend too much time on my face because I normally take hours to do my eye make up LOL. It takes me about less than 5 minutes to do my whole face (including brows which isn't shown in the video). I rarely ever powder because I like the dewy finish, and also like I mentioned, I have dry to normal skin so powder usually emphasize any dry spots. Sometimes I will use mineral powder on those lazy days where I don't feel like wearing any liquid make up and I want something super light.

Sometimes I will use a highlight when I'm feeling like it. But I mostly save that for the summer to get that super glowy skin/nights out.

PS. I do apologize for the poor quality of the video. Whenever I film & edit, the quality is fine right up until I upload it on youtube where the quality turns poor and the lighting is darker. I will try to see what I can do to make it better for the next video. I also am using a point & shoot camera as well, nothing HD. I'm trying my best with what I have! So please be patient with me <3

OOTD - Black & White

Hey loves! I've missed you bloggers! I have a small haul of some things I want to post up sometime this week so look out for that!
